[未校訂]21. Shortly after noon I felt a severe earthquake. At
night the earthquake was followed by a tidal wave which flooded several streets in Nagasaki. The governors have sent two opperbongioisen to our island to look after us and our goods. However the water quickly ebbed. I had the governors thanked for their concern and also the bongioisen for the trouble they had taken. |
